Active Mates organises short activity breaks for sociable people in Switzerland.
We run cycling, hiking, skiing and snowshoeing activities. In particular we are the only company offering guided cycle tours around Lake Geneva, with your bags transported to each hotel.
It’s all about exploring the superb Swiss countryside, meeting people with similar interests and having a relaxing and fun time!

Active Mates is based in Nyon, near Geneva. Our trips are particularly suited to the international community in Geneva, Lausanne and surrounding areas, but we have people join from across Switzerland and overseas. Geneva, or an easily-accessible alternative, is our starting point and English is the common language for all our activities.
Active Mates seeks to limit our impact on the environment in various ways. We use a small support vehicle on bike rides (we therefore appreciate our clients’ efforts to minimise their weekend luggage). We provide soft drinks and fruit juices, but avoid bottled water; all water is sourced freshly from water fountains. We use only re-usable picnic-ware and we recycle any bottles, aluminium and cardboard containers used during our trips.
